Nomads Motorcycle Club - 2009 Buffalo Rally

I am sure that anybody who attended any, or all, of the Buffalo Rallies in Mossel Bay in 2005, 2006 and 2007 will agree that they were three absolutely fantastic events. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, but definitely not through lack of trying, we were unable to obtain the site for 2008, and the event was held in Aliwal North.

However, we have continuously been working to try and get back to Mossel Bay and we are hoping to be able to hold the 2009 Buff there. There is still a lot of work to do and issues to resolve, but we are working on it!

An article appeared in the Mossel Bay Advertiser (a local newspaper) on Friday September 5, 2008. The article is in Afrikaans, which is not a bad thing at all, but for those who can't read Afrikaans, here is a very brief summary:

The local Council is informing the residents of Mossel Bay that Nomads has applied to hold the Buffalo Rally there next year and that they are inviting the residents to vote for, or against, the application before the Council makes a final decision. They will send out voting slips to all account holders (rate payers?) who should return the completed slips by September 30, 2008.

We have put a lot of effort into getting back to Mossel Bay and we sincerely hope that we will be successful. We will keep you posted.
