The Dros, Worcester
Sunday 3 July 2005
It was still dark when we left home and as we got to the top of Ou Kaapseweg we were met by an awesome sunrise, the skies were clear and we looked forward to good weather for the day. We left Damelin and went down the N1 to the Franschhoek turnoff, over the newly resurfaced Franschhoek Pass to the T-Junction where we had a brief stop. Back on the bikes and through Villiersdorp around the back of the mountains to Worcester and The Dros. We ordered off the menu, many of us choosing a burger instead of breakfast. The food was good with "man -size" portions. After leaving Worcester some chose to go home via Bainskloof Pass, while others went over Du Toitskloof Pass. In total there were 19 people on 15 Bikes and in 1 car.
