Lanners Bush Pub - A breakfast run

This ride had been planned to end for a breakfast at Gouda Hotel in Gouda - Unfortunately the proprietors are NOT motorcycle friendly and only informed me on the Friday before the ride that they could not accomodate us! Plan B - Lanners Bush Pub.
15 riders on 12 bikes left Damelin and we headed out over Tikkiesdraai to Durbanville and on to Malmesbury where we had a brief stop. After leaving Malmesbury we rode down towards Hermon, the road after Riebeck Kasteel being very bumpy on a road bike! We turned right towards Wellington and the N1. Just under the N1 before Butterfly World we arrived at Lanners. Unfortunately Harold's bike developed a leak in one of the pipes and he had to head for home. There was a welcome fire burning inside and we opted to sit inside for our breakfast. Although they had quite a few different Motorcycle clubs to attend to, they served us a lovely breakfast for only R25 per person. In all there were 14 Members and 3 Visitors on 12 Bikes and in 1 Car.
