Braai Run to "The Oval" Brackenfell Sports Club

The weather was damp & cold but nevertheless 17 of us set off down the N2 to Stellenbosch, over Hellshoogte Pass and on to Paarl where we had a brief stop under a bridge. I had arranged with Grant Hattingh to meet us along the N1 and guide us into the sportsgrounds in his Rangerover. Once there, all the "Fathers" received a chocolate with a NOMADS note attached wishing them a great Fathers Day! We were joined at the venue by more NOMADS members, families and friends. Once the fires were ready most of us purchased braai packs and the braaing commenced. A word of thanks to Chris, the manager of the venue, who supplied salads, rolls, paper plates, etc. at no cost to us. A total of 28 people on 12 Bikes and in 5 Cars attended the braai. Thanks to Grant for helping with the organisation of this venue!
