The Riverside Franshoek breakfast run

We departed from Damelin and headed out on the N7, turning right onto the R304 towards Philadelphia.
Quite a strong crosswind followed us towards Stellenbosch. After a short stop we continued up over Hellshoogte Pass (where Lizl had a close encounter of the canine kind!) and down towards Franschhoek. The resturant is surrounded by lovely gardens where peacocks roam freely. With snow on the mountains and a chill in the air, a roaring fire in a large fireplace was most welcome - especially for Devon. After breakfast a few of us walked around the gardens outside before leaving. In all there were 17 Members on 13 Bikes & 1 Car.
