Our deepest sympathies go out to Helewese, Luderick, Glen, Helene, Alan and family on the passing away of her Son, affectionately known as Pietie on the 1st of April 2018. Pietie was a Member of the Club for the past 23 years. He was one of the hardest working members and assisted at all the Buff and Springbok Rallies and, was determined to attend the 2018 Buffalo Rally.
In our hearts we will forever carry the picture of him.
May he rest in peace.

The Funeral Service for Pietie Kotze was held on Tuesday, 10 April 2018 at the NG Church, Vasco Boulevard, Goodwood at 14H00.

Double / Twin Room: R600 per person per night, buffet breakfast included (normally R1 500 per night)

Beach Club self catering units:

2018 Buffalo Rally, celebrating its 41st
Motorcyclists from all over the country flocked to the Buffalo Rally in Mossel Bay from as early as the 14th March 2018 to enter for the Buff weekend of entertainment.
The club took great pains this year to offer motorcyclists even more entertainment, to ensure they congregated mainly at the campsites at De Bakke and Santos.
True to Buff tradition the Thursday saw the weather change and it poured for most of the day.
Fortunately, the weather cleared on Friday morning and turned out to be good for the rest of the weekend.
Riders attending the Buff this year came from as far afield as Swaziland, Botswana, Namibia, UK, Canada and even Australia.
The early arrivals enjoyed the Silverland Duo Band and Mr Deejay disco on Thursday night and the Round Table’s bar and the food stalls handled the early demand and the whole weekend adequately.
Friday and Saturday were interspersed with the Le Riche Brothers and the CMA Bloemfontein Stunt riders and the very competent bands “Axenmore and Late Final” entertained during the evenings and through to the early hours of the morning.
The Miss Buff contest on Friday evening, the Mass Ride and Concours d ’Elegance on Saturday were definite highlights of the Rally.
On opening the Prizegiving ceremony on Saturday night the President of Nomads called for a moment of silence for Anton Strydom from Secunda who died from an accident on his way to the Buff, Anton Du Preez who too was entered for the Buff but passed away a week earlier.
The Prize giving was the climax of the event. A total of R170 000 was given away in the lucky draw that took place on Saturday night, which included the announcement of the winners of the concours d’ elegance.
On behalf of the Nomads Motorcycle Club and its members, thank you to all of those who made the Rally possible. Appreciation is extended to the Club Members, Sponsors, the Round Table of Mossel Bay, Officials of the Mossel Bay Municipality and S.A.P.S. and lastly, but certainly not least, the rallyists.
We wish to applaud the Mayor, Ald. Harry Levendal and Adv. Thys Giliomee, Municipal Manager of the Mossel Bay Municipality for always being supportive of the Buff.
The Nomads Club is breaking from the tradition of the past 13 years and will be moving the Buff venue in 2019.
We hope to announce the venue and date very soon – so watch this space and the Buffalo Rally Facebook page for details.
