The 2019 Springbok Rally will be held at the De Hoek Mountain Resort, outside Oudtshoorn from the 4th to the 6th of October.

If you are interested or have any questions on the ‘Die Hel Adventure Ride’ we do every year please contact Kevin van Blerk at kevin@pixelsandbits.co.za and he can explain all the detail to you. This has become a very popular event and is a fantastic opportunity for you to see a part of South Africa that few have been to.
It is basically a 130km dirt ride from the De Hoek campsite to Gamkaskloof (Die Hel) via the Swartberg Pass and back to the campsite. So make sure you have enough fuel! It is not suitable for first time riders due to the road conditions this time of the year. Plastic (MX) bikes are welcome, no quads though, if you need fuel it can be arranged, let Kevin know beforehand. If you would like to practice some dirt riding contact Kevin, he will be more than happy to take you on a ride or two beforehand and he will then be able to tell you if you will cope ok on the ride. There is cold beer and a meal that will be organised for you for R50, bring cash. Ask anyone that has done this, it is a ride to remember and has to be one of those rides on your bucket list! And you get a free button to add to your collection if you complete the ride. Will you have all 7 buttons? Let me know and you will get a special mention during the prize giving.
